Dear Friends,
I need to ask you again to help us. For a few different reason our support level has been dropping in recent months. I know it is tough times out there for some due to economic reasons and we always pray for our supporters. Just be aware that you have a very important role in what we are doing in the islands and around the world. One current concern regards the van I use to pick islanders up for our twice weekly Bible studies. Those Bible studies have been influential in helping many church leaders in the islands to deal with a whole host of important issues. The van is in desperate need of a tune up and wheel alignment. It is actually getting scary to drive. It is also due for registration next month and I have to get it inspected and registered. Registration for that van here in HI is over $500. per year now. I cannot afford to do anything at this point as our support level has been extra low this month. We really think that the Lord has indicated that we should still be doing this ministry for awhile. But we cannot live on the diminished support that we have coming in. My mother, who lives with us and does the ministry as well, is living on a fixed income so she cannot really help with this situation. I want to thank those of you who have helped us in the past with both donations, monthly support and product orders. All those things help us to continue. The apologetics ministry is also needed more than ever but the costs of running the site, sending out newsletters, etc. is becoming an increasingly difficult cost for us to manage. If you would be willing to help us out, we now have a number of options to facilitate that.
(1) As always you can use PayPal via this link to donate or send monthly support. You can click on the PayPal "Donate" button on that page as long as you have or are going to set up a PayPal account. You can put in any amount at PayPal when it takes you there. You can also send a donation through PayPal to ssimpson@hawaii.rr.com which is my email.
(2) You can also donate to the ministry by sending a check made out to "Alexander Simpson" (me) to:
Apologetics Coordination Team P.O. Box 1043 Wadesboro, NC 28170
(3) If you want a yearly tax-deductible receipt you can now also donate or support us through Moriel Ministries. They have set up a donation link for us here under the heading Moriel Pacific.
(4) You can also mail a check to David Lister made out to Moriel Ministries with a note that says "For Moriel Pacific", which is our ministry and send it to:
David Lister Moriel USA P O Box 100223 Pittsburgh, PA 15233 USA
If you want a quarterly report of what is going on in our ministry, you can also sign up for the free Moriel Newsletter here: morielcarol@yahoo.com I write a report quarterly in that newsletter so you can keep up with our ministry and read some of my articles. If you want to subscribe to this email newsletter you can do so at the bottom the newsletter by clicking on "Join Our Mailing List".
As some of you know the Apologetics Coordination Team is not the only ministry we are involved with. The reason I live in the Pacific islands is that we are continuing in the ministry we have been involved with since 1889 and my extended family since 1962 to Micronesian islanders. We hold two Bible studies a week and I transport a number of those who lack transportation or are disabled. We also do counseling and visitation of the sick as well as helping the islanders from Palau, Yap, Chuuk, Korsrae, Pohnpei, Saipan, Guam and the Marshall Islands in any way we can. I speak in local churches and at island conferences when I am invited. I spoke three times in April at a local church here in Oahu and also will be participating in a second DVD on the Emerging Church and New Apostolic in Idaho in August. Our island ministry has given me the opportunity to get information into the hands of pastors and church leaders in the islands and around the world on a wide range of issues, not the least of which is the invasion of false doctrines and cults into the islands, which is why I started my ACT web site in the first place. I am also happy to report that, not only do we have many church leaders who attend or have attended our Bible studies, but we have a number of youth attending as well. I am teaching right now on root issues that affect our worldview and how the Lord wants to "renew our minds" by changing our sinful ways of thinking into His true reality.
I need your help right now as detailed above. We continue to trust the Lord to provide our needs and we need you to partner with us in this outreach.
May the Lord bless you as you continue to be faithful to Him and His Word!
In His hands, Sandy Simpson
