How To Find A Good Church
by Sandy Simpson, 2003
Here's how to find a good church. What you need to find is a church that not only has orthodox doctrinal statements but teaches, both explicitly and implicitly, in line with the core doctrines of the Faith. These are Bible-believing Christ-centered churches that are balanced in their theology. Be sure to test all churches before you become involved. It is acceptable to get involved with a house church or Bible study as long as there is someone who has the gift of teaching there to lead the study of God's Word.
Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
The Christian life is not one to be lived alone. Trust me; I have sympathy for those who have been spiritually injured by false churches, false prophets, false teachers and false apostles. It is often a long road back from the diaprax of heresy. But to undo the brainwashing you will need help, especially from those who are already ahead of you on your journey back. The first century church was known for the following:
Acts 2:42 They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
This is a good gauge to tell if you are involved in an effective assembly of believers, no matter how small. Remember that the first century churches were in homes. In my experience smaller churches are much better at doing the above and more. Avoid mega churches.

Apostasy: Broken Lives and Shattered Faith Versus Those Who Resist
by Kevin Reeves, 7/4/19
These are critical days for the body of Christ. We are in the epoch of church history spoken of by the apostle Paul as "perilous times" (2 Timothy 3:1). What makes the danger all the more imminent is that not much of the church believes it. Many of us have owned the glorious but erroneous vision of an end-times remnant walking in unconquerable power, transforming entire societies. The result has been nothing short of catastrophic. How soon we forget. Every cult in the world has sprouted from the fertile soil of deception, always initiated by a drastic move away from the primacy of the Word of God into the nebulous, self-defining atmosphere of experience. At my previous church, our desire to accumulate otherworldly wealth (i.e., supernatural power) had ushered us into a contrived system of personal spiritual elevation much like such active cults as Mormonism and the Jehovah's Witnesses.
What Will You Do When America-As You Have Known It-Is Gone?
by Paul Proctor, 7/6/19
Country singer, Lee Greenwood wrote and recorded a very powerful and inspiring song many years ago that has all but become the new unofficial national anthem of the United States of America. The lyrics to God Bless The USA begin this way: If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life, And I had to start again with just my children and my wife, I'd thank my lucky stars to be living here today, 'Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can't take that away... Now, I'm not sure why Mr. Greenwood would thank his "lucky stars" for the privilege of living in the USA, right before calling on Almighty God to bless it - but the words do make one pause and think about the unthinkable, hopefully to reassess what is treasured most in this country. Our flag indeed still stands for freedom, but I'm not so sure that the freedom for which it stands can't be taken away.

Taking a step back and looking at the larger picture introduced in Part 2, ethnos against ethnos ("nation" against "nation") is an us versus them concept. It pits sect against sect, party against party, race against race, and group against group. (See Part 2.) In ethnos vs. ethnos one group seeks to attain dominance over another in a battle for power. In this prophecy about the last days delivered by Jesus Christ, likewise each "kingdom" (Gk. basileia, βασιλεία) wages war against other kingdoms. Basileia vs. basileia. In other words, each ethnos and each basileia seek to attain their own dominion.

The Forgotten Facts about Michael Brown of Brownsville
by Sandy Simpson, 7/8/19
Dr. Brown has been making the rounds of evangelical church gatherings and conferences presenting himself as an authority on Judaism and the truth of Scripture. His latest conference, where he is listed first as a plenary speaker, is the NCCA (National Conference on Christian Apologetics) put on by Southern Evangelical Seminary (SBC) and held at Calvary Church in Charlotte. Looks good except for one glaring problem. Michael Brown. This guy has been inserting himself in all kinds of apologetics and Jewish studies conferences. He carries with him an unrepenant participation in the Brownsville "Outpouring" that split hundreds of churches worldwide with the false teachings of the Latter Rain. He lied to Holly Pivec of Spirit of Error by saying there was no such thing as the New Apostolic Reformation. He is a clear wolf in sheep's clothing. There are some good knowledgable people particiapting in this conference but I would not spend a dime to hear his diaprax. Please warn others about this.
