A TALE OF TWO KINGDOMS Kingdom Now or Kingdom Come? by Sandy Simpson This DVD is a message based on this article. There are two kingdoms being taught in many churches today. Teaching about one of the kingdoms is on the decline while the other is being promoted all over the place. I am warning Christians that they need to check out who is using the word "kingdom", the books they have been reading and recommend on building "the kingdom", the people they have been hanging out with at conferences, and what they mean by "the kingdom".

Featured Discernment Ministry
The focus of Guarding His Flock Ministries is set not only against the Old Testament and its picture of shepherd leadership-which was found to be both derelict and responsible-but also upon Jesus' example as the Good Shepherd, and Paul's warning to the Ephesian congregation; that false teachers-wolves in sheep's clothing-would arise from within their own midst and spoil the flock. Note: Paul predicted the certain, not hypothetical, rise of wolves, the false teachers, in their midst (Compare 2 Peter 2:1.). What concerned the apostle was not the "isms" that might invade the church from the outside, but rather the "schisms" that like a Trojan Horse, would cunningly and deceptively rise in the church from the inside.

"Reimagining" God
|
by Tamara Hartzell, 1/6/13
In today's shifting Christianity, people think it is simply a matter of "moving the fence" in order to be more inclusive. They don't understand that we can't broaden the truth of Who the Lord Jesus Christ is any more than we can broaden the truth of Who God is. The Word of God tells us the truth of Who the Lord Jesus Christ is, and, again, the truth and faith that are in the Word of God give us the Christian faith, not the faith of another religion. In other words, the truth of Who the Lord Jesus Christ is gives us the Christian faith. This is the faith that is given to us by God in His Word. The Lord Jesus Christ does not "move the fence!" That is, He does not change the truth of Who He is to be more inclusive. The truth is what it is whether people believe it or not.

The gospel and the kingdom of God
|
by Mike Oppenheimer, 1/8/13
Jesus Christ must return to establish His authority and rule on earth for His kingdom to officially commence. To do this He separates the sheep from the goats (Mt.25), removes those who do evil and came against his people. Then the faithful church will rule and reign under his leadership which will be centered in Jerusalem.

The Healing Code
| by Dr. Alex Loyd and Dr. Ben Johnson Reviewed by Mike Oppenheimer
Whenever we hear of a discovery or a cure that has great popularity, it is always wise to look at how it was discovered, who are the people promoting it, and what are they saying about it? Also, is it being promoted as God given, and is it biblically approved? This is especially important as we see well-known names attached to it. In this report, we will be taking a look at something called The Healing Code to help determine if this is something that Christians can and should safely participate in.

Worship Song Ratings has been updated!
| by Sandy Simpson Updated 1/9/13
This Worship Song Ratings page is here to help churches, pastors and worship leaders in choosing music for their churches. The ratings on this page are based solely on the lyrics of the songs we have rated, not the music. Music is a subjective thing for most people and hard to rate for everyone. But the lyrical content can be rated as to how well it upholds Biblical teachings ... or not. Click here to read this page! |
