Believers In Grace Fellowship is a nondenominational family Bible church located in Marion, Iowa. Our sole purpose is serving GOD in our greatest capacity and to see souls saved by faith in Jesus Christ. We have multiple service times and believe in active participation for all christians, for the Bible teaches the "priesthood of all believers." Therefore, the number and facets to the ministry are innumerable, but one and the selfsame Spirit divides our giftings severally as He wills.
We welcome anyone of any faith in any status in life to come and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our meetings. Though our heart reaches out to the world, we are resolved to preach the Gospel truth, no matter how offensive it might be to the sinner. We firmly hold to the fact that the Church is not an invention of man, nor something you "have" or "go to", but is a building made without human hands. We dare not adjust it to make it more palatable to this world which is so hostile to Christ. Our church is an entity, not a program. As living stones, each member plays an integral and important role in the Body of Christ.
The Greek word koinonia (Κοινονια - koy-no-NEE-ah) is used to describe the community of love and self-sacrifice observed in the early church from the book of Acts. In English, it is translated as Fellowship and is our highest goal - to have fellowship with GOD and to pursue this same koinonia with one another.

DITC e-Newsletter Volume 37, Issue 4 |
Dear All,
The response from Wycliffe regarding this latest "phrase for phrase" translation into Arabic and Turkish version of the Bible, though good because they will at least delay the replacement of "Father" and "Son" in some Bible passages, does not answer the question "Why did they propose this in the first place?" I can tell you the answer and that is that they do not want to "offend" Muslims. The whole controversy could have been averted if they would have planned to do a proper "word for word" translation. But this current " Blasphemizing the Bible" has been going on for some time with "Allah" being substituted for the generic word "God" in many Arabic translations and Bible societies such as Wycliffe investigating the names of supreme beings in many cultures in order to use them in the place of YHWH in modern translations around the world. --- Please consider ordering one of our products or making a donation. The Road to Dominion - Do We Really Want God's Kingdom Now?
| by Mishel McCumber Deception Bytes, 2/6/12
There is no doubt that the evangelical and political landscape in this country has been radically transformed by a theological shift that began in the 1960's. The compelling force behind the shift was Christian Reconstructionism, also known as Dominionism, or "Kingdom Now" theology. Once this idea took root it spread like cancer infusing itself into almost every evangelical denomination and eventually weaving itself into the very fabric of the nation's political right.

The Misguided Aims of the Counterfeit "Church"
| by Berit Kjos, January, 2012
With some help from both Lewis and McLaren, the Bible's true message is fading from sight. It won't disappear, because God will preserve a remnant of believers who will treasure it. But life will change. Our cultural foundation of truth and integrity is crumbling fast, and most churches seem to follow the trends. The consequences could be severe...

Wycliffe Bible Translator's primary strategic partner, SIL International, stated recently that "we will put on hold our approval of publication of translated Scripture around which this criticism is focused. We expect this dialogue with partners, and the corresponding hold period, to commence immediately and run for an extended period." [1] This is in response to a petition circulated by Biblical Missiology, which begins:"Western missions agencies Wycliffe, Frontiers and SIL are producing Bibles that remove Father, Son and Son of God because these terms are offensive to Muslims."

Jihadist Jesus | by Brian McLaren Reviewed by Larry DeBruyn
Advocating that the whole of nature is a "sacred ecosystem of God which is the kingdom of God," McLaren appears to view that the Second Coming (SC) would be an imposition upon nature's ongoing order/disorder. In fact, he associates the idea of it with false religion characterized by "dislocation, derangement, and decomposition."
